Bio
Dejan Tumenko is a graphic designer and creative director working between brand identity, editorial design and art direction. Born in Tuzla, trained in Belgrade, and drawn early to the Swiss school for the same reason most people are put off by it: the insistence that a decision should be defensible.
He founded Flatgrid in 2023 to work the way the studios he admired did — one grid, one voice, and a small enough practice that nothing is delegated past the point of caring about it.
Notable work
Identity and art direction for Vellor Residency, a residential development sold entirely on hoardings and print two years before completion. Brand and campaign for Pletho, a medical device firm working on fine motor and dexterity, where the brief was to make assistive design read as chosen rather than issued.
Visual identity and the editorial system for Nordarch, an architecture practice that publishes far more than it builds.
